I have this laptop with Celeron N3050 and everything works out of the box with porteus 4.0 XFCE.

The only thing is - you have to change the touchpad in the bios from advanced to basic

Ville, 2017/02/19 12:33

- GRUB must be started in console mode or the screen will be blank
- Operating system must be started with “nomodeset” or the screen will be blank
- Screen brightness cannot be changed
- Touch screen works correctly
- Touch pad was not working out of the box, but started working after updating the distro
- Suspend/resume is not working; WiFI and all USB devices are lost until reboot
